A psychologist is a highly trained, caring professional who studies how we think, feel, and act. Think of them as a partner in your mental well-being who helps you understand the "why" behind your emotions and behaviour.

Through supportive, non-judgmental "talk therapy" (psychotherapy) and, in some cases, specialized tests, they help people of all ages navigate life's challenges—from managing daily stress to overcoming anxiety, depression, or trauma. They use evidence-based techniques to help you build healthier habits, improve relationships, and develop better coping skills to live a more fulfilling life. In most places, psychologists focus on therapy rather than prescribing medication.

Psychologists complete extensive education and training, often earning a master’s or doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in psychology. They also undergo supervised clinical practice and must meet strict licensing requirements set by provincial regulatory bodies, such as the College of Alberta Psychologists.

Hi, I’m Joanna.

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist and Canadian Certified Counsellor. More importantly, I am someone who believes that healing begins when you feel truly seen, respected, and safe.

In our work together, I offer a compassionate space where your experiences can unfold at your own pace. My approach is holistic—attending to your mind, body, and spirit—because I believe that true change happens when we honor the whole person.

How I Can Support You

I specialize in trauma therapy, with a deep commitment to supporting individuals navigating complex life experiences. Whether you are dealing with recent challenges or wounds that have stayed with you for years, I am here to help you navigate:

Identity & Heritage:

Racial, intergenerational, and immigration-related experiences.

Relational Healing:

Childhood trauma, sexual and relational wounds, and attachment concerns.

Life’s Weight:

Grief, loss, and workplace stress.

My Therapeutic Approach

I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” solution. Instead, I pull from a variety of evidence-based therapies to find what resonates best with your unique story. By integrating tools like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EFT with practical strategies from CBT and DBT, we can work together to:

  • Process deep-seated emotional wounds.

  • Reconnect with your innate inner strengths.

  • Build the meaningful, lasting change you’re looking for.

“My goal is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and move toward a life that feels authentic and grounded.”

Hello, I’m Rebecca Pink

I believe that people are not problems to be fixed. Instead, I see individuals and families full of strengths and potential just waiting to unfold. In our work together, we move away from “what is wrong” and focus on possibility, drawing on your innate resilience and inner wisdom in a spirit of true hope and collaboration.

A Foundation of Strength and Resilience

My perspective is deeply shaped by my own life as a daughter, mother, wife, and friend. Coming from a family with a proud military background, I have a profound respect for the grit and adaptability required to navigate life’s transitions. I understand firsthand the importance of belonging, the weight of service, and the quiet strength it takes to maintain strong relationships through change. This personal insight fuels my professional passion for helping others build a life that feels both stable and meaningful.

My Approach: Real, Relatable, and Rooted in You

I strive to create a space that celebrates your unique worldview. To me, therapy works best when the connection feels genuine and real—a place where we can both show up exactly as we are, working together with openness and honesty.

My practice is flexible and integrative, meaning I tailor my tools to fit your specific goals. Whether we are building on your existing strengths or nurturing new growth, the goal is always the same: to help you find healing and lasting change in a way that feels authentic to you.

Finding Balance

When I’m not in the therapy room, I am usually seeking my own sense of balance in the Great Outdoors. Much like the journeys I take with my clients, I find that some of life’s best perspectives are found on a trail or a slope.

Whether I’m hiking and paddleboarding in the summer, skiing through the winter, or cheering (loudly!) for my favorite sports teams, I find my greatest joy and energy being active with my family in the mountains. I bring that same energy—active, steady, and hopeful—into every session we share!

Nicki Rimke, MC, R. Psych

Life has a way of throwing us into “drastic changes” that leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. Whether you are navigating the heavy fog of depression, the constant “what-ifs” of anxiety, or the deep ache of grief and loss, you shouldn’t have to carry that weight alone. From the complex sting of infidelity or betrayal in a marriage to the lingering shadows of trauma, these demanding seasons require more than just “getting through”—they require a clear path forward to healing and resilience.

I’m Nicki Rimke, a Registered Psychologist with 11 years of experience helping individuals and families move from chaos to clarity.

My perspective is shaped by a deep well of lived experience; having navigated many different roles and seasons of life, I understand the complex stressors that come with major transitions. My background as a civilian photographer with the Canadian Armed Forces allowed me to witness firsthand what courage and resilience looks like in the face of trauma—and I bring that same sensitivity, grit, and strength into every session today.

I believe that meaningful change requires both a solid structure and a personal touch. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as the evidence-based foundation for all my work, ensuring you have practical tools to manage your thoughts and behaviours from the very beginning.

Building on that foundation, we can work together to integrate specialized approaches to create a plan as unique as you are:

For Couples: Together, we will weave in the proven Gottman Method to replace conflict and disconnection with constructive communication and meaningful repair.

For Adults: We can draw tools from Cognitive Processing Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as Polyvagal, Somatic, and Attachment Theory to help you process trauma, improve your mood, and finally reclaim your life story.

For Children & Teens: We access specific tools from Narrative, Play, and Art Therapy, alongside psychoeducational assessments as needed, to help your child unlock their potential and find joy in learning again.

I bring empathy, acceptance, and a quirky sense of humour to our work. When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me in the park, my garden or my kitchen. I believe that whether we are tending a garden or cultivating a flourishing life, the process requires patience, care, and the right tools. Let’s stop the cycle of just “getting by” and start building a life that feels whole again. Training Completed

Hello! I’m Cindy Woolfrey. I’m a Registered Provisional Psychologist with Master’s degrees in both Counselling Psychology and Education, but more importantly, I’m someone who believes that we all deserve a life that feels a little bit easier.

My journey here hasn’t been a straight line - I’ve spent time as a teacher, a guidance counsellor, an ADHD consultant, and even a trainer in the fitness industry. These experiences taught me a vital lesson: our health isn’t just one thing. Our minds, bodies, and spirits are all connected, and when one part of our life feels heavy, it affects everything else.

How We’ll Work Together

I provide personalized counselling for adults, teems, and couples, as well as various clinical and educational assessments. Because you are unique, I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Instead, I pull from different tools - like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution-Focused Therapy - to tailor our sessions to your specific personality and goals.

I see therapy as a way to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves. It’s about shifting our perspectives to find new possibilities and making changes that stick. I work from a trauma-informed and inclusive lens, but most of all, I work with you. I truly believe you hold the key to your own healing; I’m just here to walk alongside you and help you unlock it.

My Areas of Focus With decades of research and experience behind me, I specialize in neurodiversity, educational success, and holistic health. I’m here to support you through: - Mind & Mood: anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation. - Neurodiversity ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing Issues, learning concerns - Life Hurdles: Burnout, stress, career changes, and life transitions. - Healing: Grief, trauma, and identity exploration. - Connections: Relationship difficulties and interpersonal issues. - Vitality: Sleep, physical health, and finding balance.

A Little About Me When I’m not in the office, I’m likely chasing the sun. I’m a total extrovert who gets energized by the people around me! I love to travel - I even spent two years living in Hong Kong and exploring Southeast Asia.

These days, my family and I love escaping to warm, tropical spots, but we’re just as happy camping in the beautiful Rocky Mountains right in our own backyard. Being outdoors is what feeds my soul; whether it’s a vast ocean or just a sunny walk with my dogs, nature is my “reset” button.

I would love to hear your story and help you navigate whatever path you’re on.
